June Miscellaneous pics

Norah began walking this month. She is getting more sure on her feet by the day. It is so fun to see our little baby becoming 'independent' and exploring the world around her.

I thought this was a cute picture of the twin finger eaters

This is only a preview for Halloween, stay tuned.

Caedon was asking me 'Is this a dorsal fin?' as I took this picture.

If you look closely at the center of the frame there is a white speck, also known as the International Space Station. Pretty crazy!!

Father's Day

For Father's day, we took an ambitious bike ride to a Minneapolis city park for a picnic. Let me tell you my thighs were burning on the way home. It's more work pedaling an extra 60+ pounds back home than it was getting to the park. We have taken bike trips in the previous summers and find them so relaxing and fun, it's definitely going to become a more frequent activity this summer.

I should explain Norah's helmet in these pictures. It's actually Caedon's orthotic helmet. To our disbelief it fit Norah. So we used it in place of the bike helmet we've not purchased for her, yet. She was pooped out by the time we got home for our picture.

Fire Station Open House

Caedon and his buddy Ian got dressed up in Fire Fighter getup, so cute.

He's one brave fire fighter!

Of course, Sparky made his annual appearance.

I guess Caedon couldn't keep his eye's off the 'mascot.' He loves Sparky!!

This picture is a little optical illusion. If you look closely, Caedon actually isn't touching the truck

Norah's tips her hat to the brave men and women of the SLPFD

Ian loved the ride in the fire truck.

So did Caedon.

Baby Stellan photo shoot

Brie and Bryan asked me to take a few pictures of Stellan while we were in town. I think they turned out great. It was my first "real" photo session with someone other than my own kids. Kind of a big step. I can't wait to do it again.

Memorial Day weekend

We traveled to Milwaukee, WI last weekend to see baby Stellan for the first time. He is now 3 months old and a big bundle of joy. Caedon was super sweet with him and somewhat to our surprise we found out that Norah is fascinated with babies. It was a gorgeous weekend and we spent nearly every waking hour outside in the sun playing with water balloons, jumping in the kiddie pool, sliding down the slip 'n slide, and washing my car (yeayah!!). We even got to Skype with Mark and Patti in China as they finalized their third adoption. Naomi Hope is a sweet, giggly, trilingual little girl. She speaks near perfect English, thanks to her foster family's influence. She also speaks Dutch and Chinese....amazing little 3 year old. We can't wait to meet the little munchy.

Abbie and Becca read books to Caedon every night before bed.

Slip 'n Slide!!!
