An end of an era

It seems these weeks never slow down.  I was excited to see all the fall colors on our trees that have popped over the last few days, but now they're on our lawn.  So let's hope for a nice strong breeze tomorrow to blow them into the neighbors yard...did I just say that?  So the kids are doing great, Caedon still loves his drums and Norah is sitting up all by herself.  We said goodbye to friends and families at Capernaum on Friday night, and got up early today to rake some leaves at a local church to "rake" money in for the YL campership fund.  And we got some fun pics along the way.

Fall Harvest Orchard

WE MADE IT!!  The much anticipated trip to the apple orchard/pumpkin patch/animal farm was finally realized on Sunday.  It was a wonderfully sunny day, too windy, but perfect for sneaking some apples in the orchard.  We have made this our family tradition to visit our favorite family orchard in Delano, MN.  You'll see the pics of Norah and Caedon below...they had a great time.

Caedon had a so much fun rolling around in the corn pit

Not the best family picture ever, but the gourds were cheap

We were missing one of the three little pigs,
maybe next year?

Sweetest Day

We've been looking forward to going to the pumpkin patch for the past couple of weeks, but last weekend was terribly cold and snowy, so we are planning on going tomorrow.  We've also been in a cooking/baking mode around the house.  Just this week we made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, chocolate and butterscotch pudding, caramel apples.  I shouldn't say we, more like Jen.  We just got back from the St. Louis Park Halloween Party.  Caedon invited his buddies Sutton and Shaeffer to join him.  They had a wonderful time playing games, walking Mother Nature's trail, and finishing the night with a box of popcorn.
